Orlando is by far one of the most family-friendly cities in Florida! This city is filled with an abundance of activities ranging from Walt Disney World to making crayons to interactive museums. There’s something for every member of the family! However, sometimes with so many options, it can feel a little overwhelming to decide. So, let’s talk about some of the top fun things to do in Orlando with your kids!
Of course we are all familiar with the main attractions that draw the crowds to Orlando. The hub of some of the World's top theme parks such as Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld. However, Orlando offers so much more and I am excited to introduce you to some hidden gems!
Check out the Crayola Experience
Although it isn’t the original Crayola Factory, taking your kids to Crayola Experience is a fantastic way to spend a few hours in Orlando. The factory hosts a wide variety of activities for kids to do. They can make their own crayon and get to take that crayon home with them. They can also play with Crayola dough or play in the Crayola-themed indoor playground. The Crayola Experience also features the following stations for kids to get their restless energy out and for you to capture their smiles on camera!

Fresh Water Springs
Sure, Florida's beaches are some of the most beautiful in the US. While visiting Central Florida you have easy access to both the Atlantic beaches on the eastern coast of the state and the Gulf coast on the western side of the state. However, Florida is also home to various fresh water springs.
As a bonus if you are visiting during November- March you are likely to catch a glimpse of manatees.

Visit Medieval Times After a Session with Your Orlando Family Photographer
For kids who like a little bit of chaos in their vacation, taking them to Medieval Times can make them feel like they’ve just hopped in a time machine! This is an event center that hosts medieval themed shows. Your kids will get to watch the knights battle with their swords, meet the king, and even get crowned themselves! They’ll drink out of old-time drinkware and even munch on some old-time snacks during the show. Kids and adults will get a kick out of feeling like a medieval resident!
Farm Fresh Fun
If you are craving some time away from the hustle and bustle of the busy Orlando attractions I highly recommend taking a little drive just outside of the city and visiting some of the many farms of Central Florida. Depending on what is in season you can take the kids strawberry, blueberry, orange, or even peach picking!
